"Pink Beach is reputedly one of seven pink sand beaches in the world. The beach is included in the Komodo National Park on the island of Lombok, Indonesia. Pink Beach has another name in the Pantai Merah which was named by residents around the coast."
Infact : The Komodo National Park is a part of NTT/Nusa Tenggara Timur Province, or East Nusa Tenggara. While LOMBOK island is separate along distance from there. Because Lombok & Sumbawa islands is included on same region where named as NTB region, Nusa Tenggara Barat or West Nusa Tenggara. Both islands are located Western direction from "little" archipelago a part of NTT Province.
That is true, we'll find a Pantai Merah (Red Beach) nearby archipelago around Komodo National Park. While the PINKY BEACH is differ place. It located in Lombok, apart of Ekas's bay on it's coasline. You can check on map :) But, it's not just you, Lately, even some peoples in Indonesia still confuse with this explain. It related on effect on Tourism- program's promotion by both Provinces. NTT vs NTB. there is a one side who really want to get more income from tourism, and makes a new name on their beach. It still prediction.. but if we dig more we'll find out the truth. See Yeahh....,
